ASUS Tablet Launch at 360 Bar A Venue

I had a great time at the ASUS Tablet launch today at 360 bar A venue. The food was great, the company was amazing, and the new tablets that ASUS launched are a tech geeks dream come true! Walking through their displays of the ASUS Transformer Pad & Slider Pad made me die of envy. I had to stop myself from grabbing one, stuffing it in my bag, and running away with it! haha! I was hoping the whole night to win the ASUS Pad 300 that they were giving away but sadly it went to some other lucky guy.

Down below are some pictures from the event and all the information you need to know about the new ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity Series & Asus Transformer Pad 300 series.

Hitch - Basic Principles

Hitch says it all folks.

Date Movies

Have you ever had one of those days where all you wanted to do was stay in bed with your special someone, put on a movie, pop some pop corn, and relax? Well I sure have. I know this might sound cheesy but i'm quite the sucker for romantic movies. Here's a tip for you guys out there..

Your girl will feel the love just by watching some other guy do all those sweet gestures on screen. So put on a cheesy romantic movie and make her happy.

So here it is! The list of my TOP date movies :

6. One Day

5. Crazy Stupid Love

4. Serendipity

3. If Only

2. A lot like love

1. Love Actually

5 Things Girls Look for in Guys

Guys love to ask "What can I do to make her notice me?" well my friends, I have 5 tips that will help you get her to notice you.

Tip 1 :

Girls always look at what shoes you are wearing. Make sure to always have a nice pair of shoes on that compliment and go with what you wearing. Nothing catches a girls attention more then a guy with style.

Tip 2 :

Product. Product. Product. Hair Product that is. Don't go seeing your girl with that bed head you THINK looks sexy to her. Girls like a man who can clean up and knows how to make his hair work for him. I use VIFA molding clay which comes off easily with just water.

Tip 3 :

Its not enough to look good, you need to SMELL good as well. Men's perfume is a must have when going out whether it be day time or night time, to school, or to a party. I like to stick to the classic's like Davidoff Cool Water & Calvin Klein Euphoria.

Tip 4 :

Don't be afraid to smile :) Girls aren't always looking for a bad boy. Most guys feel like they have to put on this "Mask of Masculinity" grin and look angry all the time. No, Smile your way into her heart. Trust me, it works.

Tip 5 :

BE YOURSELF. Don't try to be someone you are not. Try to be as comfortable as you can when you are around girls that you like. After all, isn't the point of finding a relationship to have someone who loves you unconditionally for who you are?

"How To Get A Girl - The Perfect Guide In Ten Steps" By Sarah Bais

Here is some advice on how you can get a girl to like you. We composed this strategy as a ten step guide, as in the following:

1. Know yourself.
You will not get a girl to like you unless you know what defines you. There certainly are some traits that make you unique, like your humor, communication skills, sports abilities. Your looks are not that important as you may think.

2. Ask around.
There are friends around you that enjoy success, even with girls. If you do not know what to do, ask them for helping you with some tips. You may even try a practice date with a girl that is a good friend of yours to see what is going on.

3. Practice your communication skills.
Communication is not all about you talking about yourself, but about listening to what others have to say. You will see how the others will appreciate you for this.

4. Protection is a good thing
In today's world, girls need more than physical protection. They need someone to understand their needs and be supportive. We all are emotional beings and protection means a lot of things.

5. Warm up the conversation
When you are in front of a girl, you should not act as though you are interrogating her. It may be an useful art to know how to ask questions that involve the other in the conversation instead of letting the person out. Let the conversation flow freely without letting it become a quiz test.

6. Afford to take a risk
You do not know before hand how a person will act when you express your feelings. Indeed, this is pretty risky and some experiences may be hard to swallow but you must not give up and practice can prove to be a good thing when you learn how to express yourself.

7. Forget about routine
Let's say you are dating her for some time and the romantic things you do wore a little off. Get off the routine and do something the girl does not expect. Surprise her pleasantly, take her to a dance party, if she likes to dance or invite her to a romantic dinner.

8. You could be a chef from time to time
All people say that men are not crazy about cooking. So imagine her surprise when she sees you cooking for her. You do not have to make a festivity dinner, but a fancy easy recipe you can grasp from a lot of places to impress your girlfriend. If things do not go that well, be sure the girl will be grateful you have been thinking about her.

9. Learn the body language
People transmit all kinds of signals with the help of the body language. When you see people feeling well, their whole demeanor changes for the best, while when they are in a stressful situation, they seem tense. Search for signs in your girl's body language. This can help you prevent some bad situations.

10. Take the humor up your sleeve
Many girls love a man with a sense of humor. When they laugh, people feel less tense and more relaxed. Joke a little, use soft irony a little against you and you will see how the girl warms up towards you.

Top 5 Date spots around the Metro

There's no better way into a girls heart than taking her to a romantic restaurant and being served scrumptious, mouthwatering food. People seem to think that relationships are all about timing. However, I believe that it has a lot to do with being at the right place at the right time, too. Being a lifestyle & food blogger I have had the opportunity to check out a lot of the "must go to" places around Metro Manila. Here are my Top 5 go to date places around the Metro. Check them out and let me know how your romantic evenings go my friends!

Yummy Desserts at Chez Karine

I was out and about at The Fort earlier today with my good friend Raiza of (www.misspopquiz.tumblr.com). We were walking when we suddenly passed by this little attractive dessert cafe along the entrance next to Sonja's cupcakes that we both hadn't seen before and we were both very intrigued. We walked in and saw their beautiful line up of colorful macaroons and little jars of pudding and decided we had to try out what they were serving! Here are pictures of what we ordered and a little of what they were displaying :)

Our delicious macarons

"Sautéed Caramel Apples with Vanilla Ice Cream "

Today I got that itch again... the itch to cook and create something yummy for my tummy! hahaha! I decided to make Sautéed caramel apples served with vanilla ice cream and let me just say, they turned out DELICIOUS! Here are some pictures and steps on how to make them!

1. Get 5-7 large red apples

2. Peel them

3. slice them into quarters and remove the cores.

4. Heat up a pan with 2 whole sticks of unsalted butter then throw the apples in. Cook them for around 10 mins then sprinkle in 2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder.

5. Then pour in half a cup of whole milk and stir till simmering after which you put in 4-7 table spoons of brown sugar. More depending on how sweet you want them to be :)

6. Cook them in the caramel sauce for another 10 minutes just until they are tender but not too soft to have no bite.

Then serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!

Yummy yummy yummy!

This recipe serves 6-9 people. I suggest you all try it out and get your tummies filled with this amazing desert!
